The policy covers the insured person for in-patient hospitalization expenses for more than 24 hours of hospitalization. It includes room rent, boarding expenses, surgeon fees, consultant fees, specialist fees, anesthetist fees, medicines, drugs, etc. Room rent and boarding expenses are as per policy conditions.

It also covers ambulance charges for transporting the insured person from resident to hospital, subject to a maximum limit of Rs.750/- and overall limit is Rs.1500/- per policy period.

Pre hospitalization expenses are covered up to 30 days prior to hospitalization. A lump sum calculated at 7% towards post hospitalization, subject to a maximum limit of Rs.5000/- Pre-existing diseases are also covered under this policy. A discount of 10% is provided on premium amount  for every claim free year renewal with the company.

The policy is available for any individual aged between 5 months and 60 years. Family means, proposer, spouse and dependent children up to the age of 25 years. The sum insured ranges are from Rs.1Lakh to Rs.5Lakh.
